This page was designed to help you determine the proper size, and fit, for the boots, and skates, which we sell. This is a tricky area when purchasing skates mail-order. The best way to get the proper fit, is of coarse, to try the skates on. This however is not always possible, since there are not to many places around that carry these products. We do accept foot tracings. We do not recommend trying them on, and getting fitted in a skate shop that stocks these products, and then purchasing them elsewhere. This isn't right, and we would not like someone doing that with us. Also many skates, and boots, have to be made up or specially ordered, sometimes from another country. Returning them (if possible), can be time consuming and costly. What we recommend first, if it's possible, is to go to an area where you live, where people use the type of skates you want to purchase. See if someone is using the brand you plan on getting, and if it's your size. Ask if you can try it on (at least to slip it on to get an idea). Most models from the same company should fit the same, or at least close enough for you to judge. If this isn't possible, we recommend contacting the company who makes the boots. We feel that the best people to talk to are the people who make the boots. They usually don't mind because it's important to them that you like your new boots, they fit correctly, and that you recommend them to your friends. We've included information on sizing, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and links to the boot
BONT: These boots fit large. They can go from 1 to 2 sizes down from your shoe size (men's sizes). Usually 1 1/2 sizes down seems to work for most people on the older models, like the Hustlers, and MicroLites where the laces go all the way to the end of the boots. The newer models, with the enclosed toe area, seem to run a bit tighter. 1 size down seems to work for most people. As well as the suggestions above, you may send us a foot tracing of both feet and we can do our best to size you. Bont's e-mail address is bont@pobox.com. Bonts SIZING CHART.
